About me
My name is Désirée Coups and I am a registered homeopath, having trained at Salisbury Homeopathy College and now practising in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
My interest in homeopathy has grown over the years to the point that I now know through personal experience and the evidence of clients that it is a genuine alternative to what some might regard as conventional medicine.
Don’t get me wrong, the treatments you might receive from doctor have their place, but my life’s journey has shown me there is another approach you can take which, in the right circumstances, can leave the person in a better place.
I have been practising homeopathy since qualifying in January 2017, but you would need to go back to the days when I had a young family to discover the roots of my experience.
My daughter suffered greatly from eczema as a child and I found myself seeking natural remedies rather than applying creams she might have to rely on for the rest of her life.
Fast forward in my life and I found a comfort in homeopathy after my marriage broke down. For a while I was on anti-depressants which came with side effects, but I weaned myself off medication and started the journey to recovery.
I had discovered a holistic approach that I knew I could pass on to others, so I have made it my goal to do this.
To me, homeopathy is a way of managing each person individually and as a whole. You look at all the influences in their life to understand who they are and what they have been through.
